YAMIKIN.
Welsh Ponies of Cob-
Niki and Tracy were born into the world of horses as their Father raced American Trotters; there was a yard with liveries, and life revolved around horses , dogs, and other four legged friends.
Niki’s first pony arrived when they both were Two years of age, named Sherry, she was a force to be reckoned with, and the subject of many a tale!
At 16, after losing her Father, Niki began to spend more time with her sister, and
the Section C ponies, and in the October of that year a trip was made to the cob-
Glimmer was to become the foundation mare for the Yamikin Stud.
FELINMOR GLIMMER.
Wyken Bucks Fizz joined the stud the following year, and the two mares produced some lovely foals for Yamikin.
Sadly, in 2004, the breeding programme was curtailed, due to a compulsory purchase order of their land.
Most of the stud was dispersed, and the children’s ponies were kept at livery.
Then one day in October 2010 the news arrived that Yamikin Fancy Lass was available, and it was with great excitement that “Fancy” returned home.
YAMIKIN is reborn! Joining Fancy is the foal:
BRYNSEION PEEPTOE.

YAMIKIN FANCY LASS has had a busy year, part of it was spent at DAVID SMITH’S BROUGHTON
STUD where she was covered by the lovely stallion BROUGHTON DIPLOMAT and she has
now been scanned in-
Niki is a lady of many talents, not only is she the Mother of two daughters, but
she works as a Dog-
A special mention should be made of Daughter Britney, who works very hard with the ponies, both with the show preparation and the training!
